After looking on the internet for days for a Chick-Fil-A copycat and finding only plain old fried chicken recipes, I decided to try and imitate it myself.
There are two crucial ingredients chick-fil-a uses that most recipes dont have- pickle juice and sugar.

Ingredients:

1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup milk
1 large egg
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch chunks
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

FOR THE HONEY MUSTARD:

1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon mustard
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

method:

1) Using the whisk ... mix the mayonnaise, honey, mustards and lemon juice in a bowl. lay

2) Heat oil in a large skillet (MEDIUM-HIGH heat).

3) In a large bowl, beat the eggs and milk, add the chicken and stir gently. Drain off the excess milk mixture.

3) In a large bowl or Ziploc, roll or put the chicken in the flour and confectioner's sugar, sprinkle with salt and pepper.

4) Per batches, fry the chicken until golden brown and crispy ... 2-3 minutes. Drain.

4. In a gallon size Ziploc bag or large bowl, combine chicken, flour and confectioners' sugar; season with salt and pepper, to taste.

5) Serve your honey mustard sauce.
