Ingredient 

2 lbs / 900g pork loin, cut into 2 inch cubes 
Part 1 - 2/3 cup soy sauce 
Part 1 - 2/3 cup vinegar 
1/2 part water or 7-UP (optional) or more 
10 cloves of garlic, peeled and crushed 
1 tsp crushed black peppercorns 
1 onion, peeled and quartered 
1-2 bay leaf or laurel leaves 
1 tablespoon sugar, or to taste
